Milestone Equipment Corporation is a surface transportation equipment leasing and asset management company specializing in motor carrier equipment and rail industry-related intermodal equipment including piggyback trailers, highway trailers, containers and chassis. Founded in 1995, Milestone is headquartered in the San Francisco Bay Area, with its operations center based in Chicago, IL.

Milestone acquires equipment for its own portfolio and manages and leases equipment on behalf of institutional and private investors including banks, leasing companies and partnerships.

Milestone is active in sourcing and structuring new and used equipment lease and rental investment opportunities for our own portfolio and third party equity investors. Management services include origination and administration of leases, arranging debt and equity financings, operating and maintaining equipment in daily rental service to monetize off lease equipment, and manage returns of equipment portfolios.
